The biographical film won Best Picture, besting Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Past Lives, The Zone of Interest and Anatomy of a Fall.

Director Christopher Nolan won best director for Oppenheimer — his first win in the Golden Globes after being nominated for the same category in Inception (2010) and Dunkirk (2017).

The comedy won Best Television Limited Series, besting All the Light We Cannot See, Daisy Jones & The Six, Fargo, Fellow Travelers and Lessons in Chemistry. Meanwhile, Beef stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong both won their first Golden Globes for their performance in the series.

The ceremonies were held on 7 January (8 January Philippine Time) in Los Angeles, with Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy hosting the affair.
