“Ang daya mo love sabi mo aalagaan mo kami ni katie, bakit iniwan mo kami,” wrote Katrina Halili in her memorial message to partner Jeremyt Guiab, 53, who succumbed to a heart attack. Guiab, who used to be the vice mayor of Wao, Lanao Del Sur, was also an artist.

Artist Gregory Halili (It is unclear if he is related to Katrina) called him, “One of the most interesting, generous and amazing person I know gone too soon. The Philippine art scene won’t be the same without you. Rest in Peace, Jeremy @bespokey.”

Julius Babao wrote his condolences on his Instagram. Jeremy Guiab’s Instagram is followed by known celebrity art collectors such as John Lloyd Cruz’s Dumpsite Gallery and Beauty Gonzalez.
