Alden Richards scored major pogi (handsome) points when he displayed, in great abundance, his gentlemanly demeanor to Kathryn Bernardo, his leading lady in the blockbuster movie Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019).
When Richards attended Bernardo’s 28th birthday party in Palawan on 26 March, he arrived in style. He rented a private chopper that took him to the party’s venue, Isla Amara, which Bernardo co-owns.
In a post-birthday party for Bernardo with her closest friends in attendance, Richards arrived with a big bouquet of red roses and a gift that he lovingly gave to the celebrator.
Following these two events, many fans shipped the two A-listers and wished that there would be a part two of their blockbuster movie.
And while fans were in a frenzy rooting for the two stars, social media personality Christian Albert Gaza seemingly took a jab at Richards.
“Kathryn and Alden, they look so good together… magkumare,” Gaza wrote in a Facebook post.
Of course, his FB followers were utterly shocked at his shenanigans.
“huy! issue to. sa true ba??? kinikilig pa naman ako sa movie nila! (Hey, is it true? I am giddy about their movie),” commented one fan.
“What do you mean by true ba? Ako, ine-express ko lang yung point of view ko. Tinype ko lang yung nasa isip ko. Bakit parang may cine-claim ka? Please don’t put mouths on my word (What do you mean it’s true? Me, I just expressed my point of view. I just typed what’s on my mind. Why is it like you are claiming something. Please don’t put words in my mouth),” came Gaza’s reply.
“Marsiii pala hayp ka talaga! (Mars, you’re really an animal),” another fan said.
Gaza’s reply: “I just want to make myself clear, hindi ko dini-discriminate ang gender niya. Bumase lang ako sa kung paano siya umakbay at kung paano sila nag-picture together. Marsi na marsi kasi talaga. Yung galawan ni Alden ay murag kumare mo na pipintasan yung ex mong manloloko (I just want to make things clear. I am not discriminating his gender. I just based it on how he placed his hands and how they took their picture together. It’s really lame. Alden’s move is lame who will berate your ex who is a cheater).”
Netizens approve Michelle Dee’s choice in ‘EXpecially For You’
A plethora of netizens gave the thumbs up to Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee’s choice in a It’s Showtime segment that aired yesterday, which marked the show’s initial foray into GMA-7’s free TV station.
Of the three competing guys, Dee chose the lawyer the named Oliver from Cebu in the “EXpecially For You” segment.
Dee appeared on the show with her mom Melanie Marquez, who won Miss International 2019 before becoming an actress and international model. Marquez said she’s in favor of the guy who can teach her daughter a regional language, obviously referring to Oliver.
Netizens were one in saying that Dee made the right choice, based on their social media posts.
“32 si Oliver. Going 29 si Michelle… Ideal couple… both professional, goal driven, matalino at parehong charming .. In the end, it depends pa rin kung swak ang personality nila. Enjoy your date. Pero doon pa rin ako kay Mommy Melanie, nakakatakot na kakatuwa siya as a mom, very supportive and game in everything (Oliver is 32, Michelle is going on 29. Intelligent and both charming. It depends if their personalities match. But I’m still with Mommy Melanie. She’s scary and funny as a mom),” said one fan.
“Gwapo, nakakakilig bagay sila, kamukha ni Piolo (Handsome, they’re a good match, looks like Piolo),” another fan said.
“Hawig ni PIOLO PASCUAL lalo na pag ngumiti (Has resemblance to Piolo Pascual, especially when smiling),” agreed another fan.
