Where holidays feel like home

For all its splendor and festiveness, Christmas is truly a time for love.

Taal Vista Hotel invites Filipinos to celebrate the season with joy and peace at the premier and historic hotel destination in Tagaytay, where holidays feel like home.

CHRISTMAS feels in every corner of Taal Vista.

To kick off its annual Christmas festivities, Taal Vista Hotel held its tree lighting ceremony on 18 November featuring a handmade outdoor Christmas tree by Pampanga craftsmen. Present were Elizabeth Sy, president of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, Peggy Angeles, executive vice president of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, and Ramon Makilan, general manager of Taal Vista Hotel.

With them are the children of Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary, the beneficiaries of the celebration.

“Christmas is a time when families gather, loved ones embrace and communities unite. It is a time of reflection, gratitude and extending a helping hand to those in need. As we illuminate this majestic Christmas tree, may it guide us to the true meaning of Christmas. May it remind us that the holiday season is not only about the gifts that you receive but also the compassion and kindness,” Makilan said.

A ceremonial gift-giving for the children of Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary, beneficiaries of the celebration, followed.

In the evening, guests were treated to a Christmas concert by the Imusicapella Choir, soloist Jasmine Fitzgerald, vocalist Brian Cimafranca and pianist Jon Joe Ayala Mercado.

Guests also enjoyed a six-course dinner curated by executive chef Jayme Natividad and paired with wines from Titania Wine Cellar. Natividad made use of locally sourced items, such as Etag, an Ilocano and Cordilleran preserved meat, potatoes from Benguet, tuna from General Santos, tea from Tsaa Laya and wagyu from Bukidnon.

Taal Vista Hotel ballrooms were elegantly adorned with Christmas lights and fresh flower centerpieces by Julius Villamante of Amante Fleurs, while Artuz provided professional lights and sounds for the event.

As a cultural landmark in the heart of Tagaytay, Taal Vista Hotel remains committed to elevating its service and adapting to the changing needs of guests, all while preserving the warmth and friendliness of its staff.
