Welcoming a whimsical Christmas

In the spirit of the holidays, Filinvest transformed its expansive Central Park into a whimsical garden with the lighting of its “Our Time to Shine” Christmas Tree.

Towering 42-ft tall, the Christmas tree is adorned with moving colorful butterflies and surrounded by imposing LED pillars that make the Metro South destination even brighter and merrier.

“We recognize that this Christmas is indeed our time to shine. It’s a time for a joyous celebration that binds us as a community. This tree lighting ceremony is our shared commitment to shine kindness and generosity. Let us revel in this moment, embrace the magic of Christmas and cherish the company of those around us,” said Tracey San Pablo, development manager at Filinvest Alabang Inc.

The ceremonial tree lighting also recognized the winners of the building decorating contest. First place is Insular Life Corporate Center, followed by The Levels in second place and Asian Hospital in third place.

Christmas festivities wouldn’t be complete without some entertainment. Following performances from Hey June! and Gracenote are shows by OfMercury on 1 December, Autotelic on 15 December and Unique Salonga on 22 December.

The celebration continues with the selection of delectable culinary offerings at Eats by the Park Food Bazaar every 4 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.

Filinvest City will also light up the night sky with spectacular fireworks displays on 1 December, 15 December and 22 December. Visitors may attend the Simbang Gabi from 15 to 23 December at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel.

“Every year, we constantly strive to give the community a new Christmas experience outdoors. Looking back, it’s heartwarming to see how our city has blossomed over the last three decades and how people enjoy the beautiful spaces we’ve created, such as Central Park. We are thrilled to be a part of Filinvest Cityzens’ holiday festivities this year, and we look forward to sharing in their joy for the next 30 years,” added Don Ubaldo, Filinvest Alabang Inc.’s first vice president for townships.
