DonBelle’s ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ rules Netflix Phl rankings

DonBelle’s chemistry is definitely off the charts!

With only four episodes released on Netflix, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano’s Can’t Buy Me Love has already ranked first on Netflix Philippines’ Top 10 TV Shows.

Can’t Buy Me Love is the only Filipino show in the top 10 list as of 17 October, followed by Strong Girl Nam-Soon, Spy Family, Young Sheldon, Lupin, Magic and Muscle, The Fall of the House of Usher, Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident, Destined with You and The Rising of The Shield Hero.

It is also the fifth Filipino drama series that entered Netflix Philippines’ Top 10 TV Shows this year, after Call Me Tita, Pangako Sa ‘Yo (The Promise), Maria Clara at Ibarra and Suntok sa Buwan, all of which initially premiered on television before becoming available for streaming on Netflix.

The Filipino romantic-comedy series follows Caroline (Belle Mariano), a young, haughty and wealthy woman coping with the unexpected death of her mother during her childhood. On the other hand, Bingo (Donny Pangilinan) is a hopeful and hardworking man with aspirations of becoming a successful entrepreneur to lift himself out of poverty.

The show’s pilot episode immediately captured the attention of viewers, revealing the early tragedies of Caroline and Bingo, who both lost their mothers in an untimely manner.

Apart from Pangilinan and Mariano, the show features Nova Villa, Rowell Santiago, Agot Isidro, Kaila Estrada, Maris Racal, Darren Espanto, Chienna Filomeno and more.

Can’t Buy Me Love’s new episodes are scheduled for release on Netflix every Friday to Tuesday. Additionally, viewers can view the show on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC and other streaming platforms.
