My Daily Collagen Triathlon 2024 returns to Subic

Subic Bay’s most anticipated and well-participated multi-sport event in 2023 returns as this year’s My Daily Collagen Triathlon takes place on 10 March.

Participating triathlon teams from all over the Philippines, along with beauty queen-turned-triathlete Faith Garcia, gathered recently to announce the event. Garcia joins My Daily Collagen Triathlon as a race participant.

“It’s something that I look forward to after joining beauty competitions. I think I am already done with pageants,” says the 29-year-old Miss Aura International 2021. “I’m becoming very emotional now, because I am joining races for a cause: my dad had two cases of strokes in the past so it is very important for me to advocate physical wellness,” the beauty queen-athlete adds.

A beginner-friendly race for aspiring triathletes, as assured by the race director and world ironman qualifier Nylah Bautista, My Daily Collagen Triathlon 2024 event continues to offer safe courses for triathlon rookies, race veterans and even seasoned triathletes as well. To make it more exciting, this year’s athletes will be surprised with a never-before-seen running course, which will be announced during the race briefing on 9 March.

“We’re so excited to see newbies, veterans and seasoned athletes showcase their weeks of training through this race,” says Anna Perez, Global Wellness Enterprises/My Daily Collagen president.

“We have about 400 registered participants as of now, coming from all categories. We want this race to inspire people to do the things that inspire them,” adds Oliver Salas, My Daily Collagen’s chief sales officer and event director of Super Series Philippines.

On taking care of the athlete’s skin, muscles and joints, it is important to make sure that they get enough supply of collagen that’s essential to help survive strenuous triathlon training especially under the sun. My Daily Collagen offers an everyday collagen drink fortified with collagen, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, elastin, hyaluronic acid and royal jelly — a good mix to sustain strenuous triathlon training for both male and female athletes.

My Daily Collagen Triathlon’s registration and kit-claiming will be at the Segara Hotel on Saturday, 9 March. Race day begins at 6 a.m. at Boardwalk, Subic Bay.

My Daily Collagen Triathlon is organized by Super Series Ph.

TikTok viral Japanese collagen

now at Watson’s

Collagen users, rejoice! You can now stock up on your SKJN Collagen Microtablets in at least 200 major Watsons stores nationwide. The Microtablets’ in-store availability was officially announced during the country’s largest health and wellness expo, the Watsons Health and Wellness Expo 2024. Beauty enthusiasts now have more options for collagen while exploring the benefits that made SKJN Collagen Microtablets a social media sensation.

During the product’s launch at the Watsons Health and Wellness Expo 2024, beauty queen Billie Hakenson and actress Kristine Hermosa-Sotto talked about Kristine’s journey with SKJN Collagen. Kristine initially encountered the collagen microtablets when she was getting ready for her Valentine’s date with her husband. One year later, she explains why she loves taking it — and it’s because of how easy it was to drink and the positive effects she experienced while using it.

Before the brand rose to TikTok viral fame, SKJN began selling its products through Facebook and Instagram in 2019. In 2020, the brand experienced increased sales at the height of the pandemic. “People were in their houses, fully online and open to exploring other brands,” shared Bright Beauty, Inc. sales and marketing director Earl Viray. “That’s the time we saw a very high increase in growth.”

Customers started referring the product to others, and resellers reached out to the brand to set up their online stores. In 2020 alone, SKJN sold collagen microtablets and other products to more than 2,000 customers.

By 2022, the brand was ready to explore more avenues. SKJN opened its official online stores in LazMall and Shopee Mall. In 2024, the brand reached another milestone by making collagen microtablets available across major Watsons stores in the Philippines.
