Senator Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, popularly known as TVJ, filed a complaint of copyright infringement and unfair competition against their former home network GMA and “Eat Bulaga’s” producer Television and Production Exponents Inc.

The filing happened last 30 June 2023 after GMA and TAPE Inc. aired previous episodes of the long-time-running noontime show in the country.

This happened when all the hosts referred to as Dabarkads filed their mass resignation after not being allowed to work and go live last 31 May 2023.

The Marikina Court is awaiting GMA and TAPE Inc.’s response to the summon they sent them.

As of this date, TVJ and the legitimate Dabarkads found their new home in TV5 where they are airing their new noontime show entitled “E.A.T.” which made history during its premier last 1 July 2023.
