Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo are now married!

They tied the knot on 23 March in a civil wedding ceremony officiated by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte. The wedding, which coincided with the bride’s birthday, was attended by her and her groom’s families and closest friends.

Marudo took to Instagram on 26 March to share the good news by posting a few wedding photos and referring to Atayde in the caption to her new status.

“Happy Birthday MY WIFE,” the 41-year-old actor said.

Atayde’s siblings sent their congratulatory messages on Marudo’s Instagram post.

“Welcome to the family, Kuya!” Gela Atayde wrote while Arjo Atayde commented: “Love you both!”

Their celebrity friends, including Vice Ganda, Angelica Panganiban, Bianca Gonzalez and Donny Pangilinan, likewise expressed heartfelt support and best wishes.

In January 2023, Atayde and Marudo confirmed their romantic relationship six years after co-starring in the 2017 television series My Dear Heart, where their close friendship began.

Just last February this year, the celebrity couple announced their engagement via Instagram. “Forever sounds good,” the 32-year-old actress simply wrote in the caption.
