The Manila Marriot Hotel in Pasay City was transformed into a holiday wonderland on 19 November for the second Star Magical Christmas, with ABS-CBN stars walking the white carpet in their most playfully festive and extravagant ensembles.

Here are some of the standouts at this year’s glittery event:

Sweet as candy cane

Hailed as the evening’s Fan Favorite Male and Fan Favorite Female, Can’t Buy Me Love stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano looked as striking as ever in each other’s arms, he in Christmas colors and she in a candy-cane-inspired striped red dress.

Angel on earth

Chie Filomeno was alluring and heavenly in a Victoria’s Secret-inspired look, showcasing her blonde hair and curves in a form-fitting bodysuit styled by fashion stylist Perry Tabora.

Christmas in Northford

Andrea Brillantes proved that she would always be a head-turner by coming in a parol-inspired outfit, looking angelic and pristine in white.

Her co-Senior High stars were just as dashing and daring in their outfits. Juan Karlos, for instance, came as a hip Santa, while Kyle Echarri dressed himself up as a reindeer, looking expensive in chocolate-brown fur.

Xyriel Manabat, Daniella Stranner, Tommy Alejandrino and Gela Atayde were not far behind as  in imaginative glam getups that celebrated the yuletide spirit.

Sweet and jolly

Joshua Garcia brought a whimsical and iconic character to life by strutting in as Willy Wonka. Styled by Joey Espiritu, Garcia wore a red velvet coat over an all-black inner outfit, topping it off with round white specs and a black top hat to complete the look.

Holiday powerhouse

P-pop powerhouses BINI and BGYO made sure they stood out, too, with BINI’s Stacey as Snow White and her bandmates Maloi, Sheena, Gwen, Mikha, Colet, Jhoanna and Aiah as the seven dwarves; with BGYO’s Gelo as Santa Claus, along with Akira as a reindeer, Mikki as a snowman, Nate as a Christmas tree and JL as one big gift.
