Philanthropist and social media influencer Pink Rose Tolentino Santiago is hosting a television show segment to talk about Philippine culture and the arts.
“Pamana Exploring Filipino Legacy with Pink Rose of Philippine Heritage Society” is a new segment of the television show Circle of Influencers, shown on Light TV, a free television channel in the Philippines. Now on its second season, Circle of Influencers adds “Pamana Exploring Filipino Legacy with Pink Rose of Philippine Heritage Society” as one of three segments with 15 minutes each.
Santiago is joined by co-host, fashion and events director Nathan de Leon, who recently co-founded the Philippine Heritage Society and serves as its creative director. They will tackle different topics about Filipino culture and the arts.
Santiago is a member of the Philippine Heritage Society, as well as an actress and model. She said she admires the former First Lady Imelda Marcos and wants to be like her in promoting Filipino heritage through her fashion and wearing of ternos.
“I am excited to host this kind of show especially it has an advocacy for Filipino culture and the arts,” Santiago enthused.
Produced as a blocktime program by Mabuhay PH Digital Network for Light TV, the show is conceptualized and directed by Jag Cruz, who also dabbles as a filmmaker and content creator. The pilot episode of “Pamana Exploring Filipino Legacy with Pink Rose of Philippine Heritage Society” was aired on 8 July.
“I thank Direk Jag Cruz. I really appreciate that I am the first one he chose with Direk Nathan as one of his top choices to be part of his TV show and host one of the segments,” Santiago said.
Cruz said that the show is another answered prayer for him and his budding career as a TV show director.
“‘Pamana Exploring Filipino Legacy with Pink Rose of Philippine Heritage Society’ is one of the three segments that I thought is perfect for my already-existing show…I wish to thank Madam Pink Rose and Direk Nathan de Leon who are both friends of my cousin, who is blessed with a good heart, for their utmost trust in me,” he said. “Thank you to Light TV, Wisdom Church of Manila, to the previous host of Season 1 and to the actors from Circle of Influencers, Mabuhay PH Talents, and to all the people who always support me. Maraming salamat!”
