Marina Abramović revisited

A few notable works of Serbian performance artist Marina Abramović are reperformed in the exhibition by the next generation of performance artists, who have been trained in the Marina Abramović Method.

Imponderabilia

Two nude performance artists positioned on either side of a narrow doorway invite the audience to sidle through. This piece, originally performed by Abramović and German artist Ulay, delves into the concept of “the artist as a gateway to the museum.”

Nude with Skeleton

A performance artist lies beneath a skeleton that moves in sync with their breathing. This artwork draws inspiration from a Tibetan Buddhist practice wherein individuals confront their fear of death by sleeping alongside the deceased.
