Rising Kapamilya star Kyle Echarri has recently signed a new contract with ABS-CBN last Friday.
At a press conference following his signing, Echarri disclosed that he is currently working on two new projects, one of which is with Piolo Pascual, the ultimate leading man.
“We just did a movie recently under Spring Films and Cornerstone Studios. Excited na po akong ipakita sa mga tao. I also have another project, isa rin pong pangarap ko, that’s coming soon. Hindi ko pa po puwedeng sabihin but it’s under ABS-CBN. Excited po ako na ganapin ‘yung role na ‘yun.”
When asked about his preparations for these roles, the young actor shared that he has been concentrating on toning his body.
“Marami pong naka-schedule na workshops. It’s always better to better your craft kahit san ka sa career mo. It’s always good to do workshops and fix your tools.”
Currently, Echarri stars in the primetime series Senior High with Andrea Brillantes and Juan Karlos.
He entered showbiz eight years ago after joining The Voice Kids, where he grabbed the Top 6 spot during the show’s second season in 2015 on Sarah Geronimo’s team. He later shifted to acting, gaining fame for his role in the popular afternoon series Kadenang Ginto. Echarri’s versatility also shines in the youth-oriented musical series Lyric and Beat and Huwag Kang Mangamba. He also portrayed a young Apollo in The Iron Heart, a character played by Richard Gutierrez as an adult.
