K-Pop stars Taemin, Yugyeom, Hyo bring magic to Manila concert

Pinoy fans who attended K-Magic Live! witnessed a night of iconic music and thrilling dance performances.

On 13 October, the crowd matched the electrifying energy of phenomenal K-pop stars Hyoyeon, Yugyeom and Taemin at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Hyoyeon, a member of the K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation, since 2007, returned to Manila after more than three years following her exclusive live DJ set in February 2020.

The alluring solo performer, who is also part of the sub-unit Oh!GG since 2018 and the female supergroup Girls on Top, performed her popular hits “Deep,” “Dessert” and more. She also unveiled her highly-anticipated comeback song in over a year, “Picture,” highlighting her charming and captivating vocals.

Yugyeom, the maknae (youngest member) and main dancer of GOT7, gave thousands of Filipino Ahgases a memorable night as he showed how much he has grown as a solo artist.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter, who performed for the first time as a solo act in Manila in August, sang “Ponytail,” “Love The Way,” “All Your Fault” and more. He also performed “LOLO,” a title track released in July 2023, for the first time.

Filipino Ahgases partied hard with Yugyeom as he sang and danced along to GOT7’s “Hard Carry.”

Lastly, all eyes were on Taemin, SHINee’s maknae and main dancer, who was discharged from the military in April and has been “booked and busy” since then.

The SHINee and SUPERM member prepared an unforgettable set, performing crowd-favorite hits “Move,” “Criminal,” “Advice” and more while showing off his soulful vocals and riveting dance performances.

The “Idol of Idols,” who is currently gearing up for his fourth mini album titled “Guilty,” told Filipino Shawols to look forward to his new album and the upcoming tour dates for his concert.
