A compelling collection of works by 20 Filipina and French artists was exhibited at Level 2 Atrium at SM Podium in celebration of Women’s Month.

Organized by the Embassy of France in the Philippines and Micronesia, in partnership with SPARK! Philippines and SM Podium, the #Women2024: Empower Her Palette was attended by Senator Grace Poe, French Ambassador Marie Fontanel together with SM Supermalls president Steven Tan, SPARK! Philippines executive director Maica Teves and curator and artist Kim Lim.

Empower Her Palette, supported by Lim, not only aimed to spotlight the vibrant and diverse voices of Filipina and French women artists, but also provide a platform for their unique stories, perspectives and experiences.

By immersing the audience in transformative narratives of resilience, healing and personal growth conveyed through paintings, the exhibit aimed to motivate viewers to explore their own creativity and find personal empowerment through art.

“At its heart, the exhibition is a powerful showcase of women’s creativity, resilience and their vast potential. It is our hope that the works on display by Filipina and French artists will spark conversation and action around the journey of all women towards equality and empowerment,” Tan said.
