Fake yaarn: That’s not Andrea and Daniel in elevator photo

An elevator photo that was said to show Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes together began circulating online, which naturally had netizens yakking against them.

Sorry, but one guy quashed all the rumors when he clarified that it was him and his girlfriend in that controversial picture.

The guy, Jerome David, came out publicly in a TikTok video and said, “May mga kumakalat nga pala na picture sa elevator. Sagutin ko na po ha, para matapos na ‘to… Kami po ng girlfriend ko ‘yung nasa picture na ‘yon (There is an elevator picture going around. Let me clarify this so the rumors will stop… That’s me and my girlfriend in the picture).”

David said he came forward to remove doubts and prevent people from falling for fake news.

‘Wag tayo pauto (We need to stop what others are thinking out there. We know what’s happening in the world now. I’m just as gutted. Let’s not worsen it and believe in them [the rumors]. Let’s not be fooled).”

ALDEN Richards on ‘It’s Showtime.’

Alden Richards bashed for ‘It’s Showtime’ guesting

Alden Richards’ Monday guesting on It’s Showtime was met with criticism by some netizens who felt that the actor did not walk his talk.

They said the actor was remiss in his word that he would not guest in a noontime show that was a direct competitor of EAT, hosted by Tito and Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.

Richards came from Eat Bulaga, the original show that successfully teamed him up with Maine Mendoza, becoming popularly known as AlDub.

Sabi nya ‘Dabarkads hanggang sa huli’ tapos sa kalaban pa ang guesting (He said ‘Dabarkads until the end, but he would guest in a rival show)” one guy wailed on X.

Richards guested on It’s Showtime to promote his Metro Manila Film Festival movie with Sharon Cuneta.

The actor had his defenders too, who pointed out that he was promoting a movie, and that previously he had no idea that It’s Showtime would eventually become part of GMA, his home station.

Marian and Dingdong: Happy family

Just like their characters in the Metro Manila Film Festival movie Rewind, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera say their marriage is no walk in the park.

Lahat naman ng mga couples ay nagkakaroon ng challenges sa kanilang relationships. Ganoon din kami. At least sa amin, early on pa. Pero dahil matibay ‘yung respeto namin sa isa’t isa, ‘yung pagmamahal, higit sa lahat we really recognize that God is at the center of our relationship. Kung ganon talaga, mayroong gagabay sa inyo (All couples have challenges in their relationship. We’re also like that. At least to us it came early on. But we have respect for each other, and love, and more than that we really recognize that God is at the center of our relationship.  If that’s the setup, He will certainly guide you),” Dantes said.

For her part, Rivera said that there is no day that she and Dantes do not patch up their differences. They don’t go to sleep unless they’ve threshed things out.

Rewind, directed by Cruz-Alviar,  is based on a screenplay by Enrico Santos, with Carmi Raymundo as creative director and Daisy Cayanan-Mejares as creative manager.
