The full-on, denim-on-denim look was a huge trend in 2023, and it looks like the fabric that transcends time and trends is still giving fashionistas that rush of excitement.


The racks of every brand that matters are sure to sport some version of the trusty jean — but you will definitely see more experimental takes on the denim itself. What’s new in 2024?

The Marks & Spencer 2024 Denim and March Collection features a versatile selection of fits, styles and washes. From a pure cotton beach dress in a glamorous bardot neckline or puff-sleeve dress in womenswear, denim goes resort this year.

In menswear, vintage is the key word and top are roomy and laid-back. Explore the latest in menswear innovation with selections that have cool comfort moisture wicking technology, easy to iron, 360 flex denim, Sun Smart UPF50+, quick dry and more.

Meanwhile, Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp., launched the Tommy Jeans Spring 2024 collection of denim essentials that form the dress code of the new generation. The campaign portrays Classic American Cool through a Tommy Jeans lens, spotlighting moments that celebrate the unifying threads of culture and style within a global circle of creatives defining youth culture.

“Seasons change, trends come in cycles, yet denim always endures,” Tommy Hilfiger said.

From his brand, get a peek at the bomber jacket and Aiden baggy-fit jeans, Oxford shirt and cricket jumper, new takes on the varsity jacket and collegiate sweater, and new silhouettes like the short-sleeved denim overshirt with matching dad fit jean shorts.

Of course, Levi’s will not be left behind and it has rolled out a new collection that wearable pieces focusing on fit and fabrication, but, get this, elevated!

Featuring easy silhouettes, super soft fabrics and pitch-perfect details, Levi’s summer collection offers a fresh take on blouses, dresses and shirts. It includes long-sleeve blouses with subtle prints and delicate detailing; summer dresses with expanded print, pattern, length and silhouette offerings.

Levi’s embraces the calm fit trend with revamped relaxed styles that will no doubt become staples in any wardrobe. Taking inspiration from the ‘90s and 2000s, new styles come in roomy silhouettes and are updated with the latest Levi’s  design technology.

The summer collection of tops and dresses for women is available for purchase at levi.com.ph and select Levi’s® Boutique stores nationwide.

Levi’s Brand’s premium selvedge denim line, Made In Japan, will also be releasing beautifully crafted pieces sourced from the renowned Hiroshima-based Kaihara Denim Mill. These pieces are created with vintage shuttle looms to achieve the most exquisite shades of indigo denim.
