With over 750,000 YouTube subscribers and three million followers on Facebook, the popularity of Pinoy Pawnstars and its video content — wherein he buys and sells old and important memorabilia whether you’re a celebrity or not — has made a mark.

Boss Toyo, or Jayson Luzadas in real life, produced Pinoy Pawnstars to provide value not only to artists’ most prized possessions but also to the creations they crafted in their field.

Just recently, Boss Toyo was chosen to be the first partner of Eevor Skincare Depot or SCD, which is led by its chief executive officer and founder Grace Mangulabnan Angeles. Boss Toyo was chosen for his natural wit, character and content.

“Yung sarili ko lang isa-sample ko sa kanila, wala naman ibang gimmicks. At talaga naman ginagamit ko ‘yung sunblock kasi nga I’m into cycling (In my case, I just use myself as an example for them, no other gimmicks. And I really use sunblock because I’m into cycling,” said Boss Toyo, who admits personally using the sunblock gel and lotion.

“It doesn’t make sense sa mga followers. Ang gusto ng mga tao (What people want) is how you strive and how you bounce back from your failures at pagkakadapa (and stumbles),” added Boss Toyo regarding his controversial image on social media.

Beauty and wellness

“As we all know napaka-ingay ni Boss Toyo,” Angeles said. But we chose Boss Toyo because he is pang-masa and, for SCD, we chose to be masa as well but our formulation is high-end in quality.”

Along with Boss Toyo, SCD also launched The Voice Kid’s Sassa Dagdag as its newest ambassadress because of her natural charm and success story that inspired everyone.

SCD products are not just for women. Men can also use them especially since the company will be launching a man-enhancer product soon. As innovative as she can be, Angeles continues to make new formulas and ingredients that will make SCD the best and different from other existing products in the local and international markets.

Angeles’ goal isn’t just for herself; she wants to be an instrument for spreading beauty and wellness as they celebrate eight years in May this year. Angeles strives hard to make the products more budget-friendly while ensuring customer satisfaction with their effectiveness

In 2020, SCD started to build its name in the Philippines and its neighboring Asian countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. They plan to extend the promotion of SCD products in the Middle East this year.

SCD offers a variety of products, from bath essentials, such as soap, scrubs, feminine wash and shampoo, to facial and skin care like lotions, toners and facial creams. Each product is made of quality ingredients that help the skin remain natural and chemical-free.
