BINI’s first solo concert sold out in less than 2 hours

This P-pop girl group is definitely called the “Nation’s Girl Group” for a reason!

BINI’s first-ever solo concert BINIverse has been sold out, as announced by their music label, Star Music, on 2 April. The announcement came nearly three months before the actual staging of the concert set on 28 June at New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

“WE’RE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS!!! #BINIverse_TheFirstSoloConcert will be a blast for sure with all the (BLOOMS) and the Nation’s Girl Group @BINI_ph gathered in a musical haven,” Star Music said in a tweet.

Following the music label’s announcement, the members of the phenomenal girl group expressed their gratitude to their fans on X.

“Wow! Still can’t believe na nangyayari lahat ng ‘to. Pinag-hirapan natin ‘tong lahat, alam nyo ’yan. To more achievements and milestones to us blooms. SEE YOU ALL!!!! #BINI,” Maloi Ricalde, the group’s main vocalist, said in a tweet.

Another vocalist, Gwen Apuli, thanked fans who lined up to buy their tickets: “Thank youuuu guys sa lahat ng pumila [nang] maaga at nag-abang. Less than 2 hours? Grabe yun blooms! SEE YOU ALL!”

Sheena Catacutan, the girl group’s main dancer, reassured fans that there would be more opportunities to see BINI perform live.

“Who would’ve thought na makaka-sold out kami ng concert?” Catacutan said.  “And to everyone na [hindi] naka-secure, don’t be sad na, we will see each other pa sa ibang events namin.”

In addition to this career milestone, BINI has also been confirmed to appear in the Chinese idol survival program, Show It All.

The survival show, which is hosted and produced by EXO’s Lay Zhang, will feature BINI along with G22 in a series of highly-anticipated performances.

Apart from Gwen, Maloi and Sheena, BINI consists of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Stacey and Mikha. They debuted as a group in 2021 with the song “Born to Win,” which became a huge success. They then released several viral songs, including “Pantropiko,” “Na Na Na” and their latest hit single, “Salamin, Salamin.”

BINI also recently became the first-ever recipient of the Rising Star award at the inaugural Billboard Philippines Women of Music held in March.
