Dubbed as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” the girl group garnered over 1.4 million monthly streamers on the audio streaming and media service provider. This was announced by Star Music across its social media platforms on 17 March.

“MAKING HERSTORY. Your Nation’s Girl Group is also now your nation’s top P-Pop group in number of monthly @Spotify listeners! 🌸We’re now at ✨1.4 MILLION+✨strong!!! Congratulations,

Mikha Lim, BINI’s main rapper and lead dancer, also expressed her gratitude to their fans as they reached a new career milestone: “We are so grateful and so blessed. Thank you so much for all your support and manifestations for BINI. To more blessings and achievements! PPOP Rise.”

As of writing, BINI has 1,419,958 monthly listeners on Spotify. They are followed by the phenomenal P-pop boy group SB19 with 1,343,337 monthly listeners.

The girl group was able to achieve this milestone days after dropping its latest extended play Talaarawan, which contains the latest hit single, “Salamin, Salamin.”

BINI, which consists of Aiah Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena, debuted in June 2021 with the single “Born to Win.”

The Filipino girl group is also known for their viral songs “Na Na Na,” “Karera,” “Pantropiko” and “Lagi,” among others. Their hit single “Pantropiko” has been covered by several K-pop stars, including Red Velvet’s Irene and ITZY’s Ryujin.

Apart from this career milestone, BINI is set to receive the Rising Star award at the Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards.

The eight-member group is set to hold its very first concert on 28 June at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
