X (formerly Twitter) is abuzz with rumors that Alden Richards is being enticed to join the Kapamilya network.
GMA’s prized star is supposedly being tempted with a very high offer, something like name your price and sky’s the limit.
But according to a one guy: “Yan ang sabi ng source ni Lolit Solis at usapan yan sa Marites University. At totoo daw yan. Pero mukhang na secure na ng GMA. All smiles sila at nag Thank you pa. Loyal yan si Alden eh (That’s what Lolis Solis’ sources said and it’s the talk at Marites University. And it’s reportedly true. But GMA appears to have secured. They’re all smiles and they just said thank you. Alden is loyal to them).”
One avid Kapamilya fan also contested the rumor: “Hindi yan kukunin ng ignacia kasi focus sila sa artista nila. Tsaka tama na na natulungan yan si alden ng star cinema pra makakamit din ng blockbuster award na nde mbgay ng GMA (Ignacia will not get him because they’re focused on their artists. It’s enough that Alden was helped by Star Cinema to get a blockbuster award, which GMA was not able to give him).”
With so many talents, it’s unlikely that ABS-CBN will make an offer for Alden. If they want him, they could have offered him a contract many years ago.
‘Senior High’ breaches one billion views on Tiktok
ABS-CBN’s hit mystery-thriller primetime series Senior High continues to keep viewers on an emotional high each night. Proof: It recently surpassed one billion views on TikTok.
Senior High, which stars Andrea Brillantes and is also consistently the most watched series on iWantTFC, recently dropped a two-minute trailer for its new season teasing more twists and turns surrounding the pregnancy of Luna before she met her demise.
The intriguing trailer also reveals two main suspects as the possible biological father of Luna’s baby: her former lover Gino (Juan Karlos) and the convicted rapist, professor Castrodes (Floyd Tena).
Viewers can also look forward to even more shocking revelations as Grae Fernandez joins the series, playing the mysterious Yosef who enters Sky’s (Andrea) life.
DJ JhaiHo decries post against mom
Host and content creator DJ JhaiHo has called the attention of the National Bureau of Investigation after his mom was maligned in a post on X.
The hate against JhaiHo stemmed from a report in his show about the alleged clandestine meeting between Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes. JhaiHo said he was not in the show when the report was made.
Fans of JhaiHo were quick to push back at the below-the-belt aria against the host’s mom, and some urged him to sue the basher.
“I can be a die-hard fan, but I’ll never go this far. This is just so mean and utterly disgusting!” said one fan.
