Aranaz said all of her items are crafted from stainless steel and undergo a special 18-karat gold coating process known as the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Method. This method enhances durability and resistance to oxidation and rust, ensuring the color won’t fade and preventing skin discoloration.
“I love the beach and I love wearing accessories,” shared Aranaz. “So, when I discovered that this type of jewelry exists when I was traveling abroad, I was pleasantly surprised. I never thought I’d stumble into elegant pieces that were non-tarnish, hypoallergenic and affordable. I didn’t have to take them off when I swim, take a bath, or workout. That inspired me to create Sunspell so I can create and design accessories for those who love to complete a look with pieces they never have to take off whenever they sweat or swim.”
Sunspell has necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and anklets. Customers can customize their jewelry with personalized danglers, from initials to playful shapes. The brand also occasionally introduces other items like mini totes, macrame bags, terry towel. bucket hats and crocheted hats.
This summer, Aranaz releases its Heatwave Collection, featuring 40 pieces of gold and silver jewelry designed to be worn anywhere from the beach to the gym and everything in between. Prices start at P395.
