Cuisines of Thailand, Korea, China and Vietnam have long been popular in Metro Manila. Yet, rarely has there been one that showcases the best from Singapore.

Tiong Bahru Restaurant offers the finest dishes from the Lion City. The restaurant is named after a community in Singapore where several old and well-preserved buildings still stand.  Its most famous landmark is the Tiong Bahru Market which houses more than 50 hawker stalls. Foodies who visit the market often flock to a food stall called the Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken. Its famous chicken has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand Award for six consecutive years, from 2017 to 2023.
