In a recent announcement on Weverse, BigHit Music, the record label of BTS, described the track as a masterpiece with “clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second and third dimensions.”
The global impact of “3D” was further underscored by its rapid ascent to the top of the iTunes Top Songs charts. By 8 a.m. KST on 30 September, the single had claimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes charts in over 100 regions across the globe, including major music markets like the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada and Italy.
Impressively, according to SOOMPI, the instrumental and alternate versions of the song also reached No. 2 and No. 3 on numerous national iTunes Top Songs rankings.
The “3D” music video simultaneously saw a spectacular increase in watchers, surpassing 11.7 million views on YouTube by 9 a.m. 30 September at KST.
