2025 and beyond: BTS renews contract with HYBE, BIGHIT Music

BTS and ARMYs will continue to walk a flowery path in the future!

All seven members of K-pop mega-group BTS have officially renewed their contracts with their label, BIGHIT Music — a label operated by HYBE Corporation.

On 20 September, HYBE shared the good news with the media through a formal press release, saying “The board of directors has completed (their decision) on renewing the exclusive contracts of all seven members of BIGHIT MUSIC’s artist BTS.”

The multi-award-winning South Korean boyband renewed its contract with BIGHIT Music for the second time. The first one was in 2018.

With BTS’ contract renewal, RM, BTS’ leader and main rapper, shared a glimpse of his contract on his Instagram stories — giving more assurance to their fans worldwide that the group will “stay together in 2025 and beyond.”

Debuting in 2013, BTS took the world by storm as it topped local and international charts, held multiple sold-out stadiums and made history with its music critically acclaimed and well-loved by fans and music enthusiasts worldwide.

In 2022, the group announced that the band would be going on an “indefinite hiatus” from performing to focus on solo endeavors.

Following the septet’s hiatus, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook were able to release their solo music, which also topped charts worldwide and cemented their status in the industry by showcasing their world-class talent to a global audience.

The hiatus also provided each member of the group time to complete their required military service. Jin was the first BTS member to enlist in the military, followed by J-Hope in April and Suga in September.

As the group renewed its contract with its respective label, the wait will surely be worthwhile for fans.
