Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is the newest animated musical fantasy film from the legendary studio, now showing in cinemas.

Disney fans of all generations gathered to watch “Wish’s” Philippine premiere.

Young Disney fans are very thrilled to see Asha and Star on the big screen.

Families are excited to experience “Wish” at the Philippine Premiere and add it to their list of tales.

Set in the magical kingdom of Rosas where wishes come true, “Wish” tells the story of Asha (Ariana DeBose), a young girl looking to become the apprentice to Rosas’ ruler King Magnifico (Chris Pine).

After finding out the hidden truth about Rosas, she makes a powerful wish and meets a ball of energy named Star.

Together with Star and her goat Valentino, Asha sets out on a quest to save the kingdom and save everyone’s wishes.

“Wish” features the voices of Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino.

The film, helmed by director Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, features seven original songs written by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice, plus a score by composer Dave Metzger.

Filipino viewers can also listen to the special Filipino version of the film’s main song (“This Wish”) titled “Aking Hiling,” performed by Zephanie, on Spotify. The official music video is coming soon to Youtube.

A nationwide music caravan with Wish 107.5 will be held 25 November at Ayala Malls Central Bloc and SM Seaside Cebu.
