This January, ‘80s pop sensation The Jets makes their first appearance at the country’s premier entertainment destination, Newport World Resorts.

The Grammy-nominated group will rewind the clock with throwback tracks such as “Crush on You,” “You Got It All” and “Make it Real” in their two-night concert at the award-winning Newport Performing Arts Theater on 26-27 January.

The Tongan-American group, known for their feet-stomping anthems, returns to Manila for the fourth time. Their music remains a beloved part of ’80s pop culture and is celebrated by their fans in the country to this day.

Back in 1977, siblings LeRoy, Eddie, Eugene, Haini, Rudy, Kathi, Elizabeth and Moana Wolfgramm first came together to form The Jets. For the rest of the ’80s, the family band skyrocketed in the music scene with their blend of retro rock and roll and contemporary pop influences.
