Actress Angelica Panganiban welcomed 2024 as a bride, when she married her non-showbiz boyfriend Gregg Homan in Los Angeles on 31 December.
In a series of wedding photos posted on Instagram last 1 January, the actress looked radiant and beautiful in white. She also included a photo of her and Homan’s daughter Amila.
“Patuloy na mananalig at maniniwala sa pag-ibig. Sa kabila ng lahat. Ang pagmamahal pa rin ang kakapitan (I will continue to believe in love. Despite everything, it’s love I will hold on to),” she captioned her posts.
Panganiban also greeted her fans and followers a happy new year by using her now full name, Angelica Panganiban Homan.
The Instagram post was flooded with congratulatory messages from celebrities, including Anne Curtis, Maja Salvador, Vhong Navarro, Maris Racal and more.
Her celebrity friends Kim Chiu and Bela Padilla were also present during Panganiban and Homan’s intimate wedding ceremony, posting their own photos on Instagram to celebrate the milestone.
Chiu congratulated the newly-wedded couple with a heartfelt message. “Witnessed a love that is everlasting, love that comes in perfect timing, love that is unconditional, and love that deserves to be felt by one another. Congratulations momsy
@iamangelicap and @gregg_homan,” she wrote.
For her part, Chiu wrote: “I felt blessed to witness this beautiful ceremony. I can’t miss this! Love you, Momsy Angge! Thank you, @gregg_homan for loving our momsy. Alagaan mo ang momsy namin forever.”
“The drought is over,” said Padilla. “Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Homan. The best day ever.”
Meanwhile, makeup artist Mikka Marcaida also posted Panganiban’s bridal look on Instagram, adding that she wouldn’t miss the special day.
“My 123123 bride. When @iamangelicap asked me to do her bridal makeup months ago, I can never say no. I had a bride booked Dec 30th in Manila so I had to take a red eye flight just to make in time for her wedding day,” shared Marcaida.
Panganiban later on commented in Marcaida’s Instagram post, expressing her gratitude for what she called the “tunay na pagkakaibigan na binigay mo sakin” (the true friendship you gave me).
Panganiban and Homan met in 2018 when the actress was filming a television series in Subic. They officially became a couple in 2020.
In October 2022, Homan proposed to Panganiban, with the entire engagement process documented in a vlog posted on YouTube.
