The members of K-pop mega-group Seventeen are proving they are more than just performers; they are also variety show masters.
The group is set to make their fans laugh and swoon with the rebranded version of Na Yeong-seok’s popular variety show Youth Over Flowers called NaNa Tour with Seventeen, which is set to premiere on tVN Asia, Cignal TV and Weverse starting 5 January.
In the preview video, Seventeen can be seen going on an unexpected summer vacation in Italy after finishing their Tokyo Dome Concert in September.
In May last year, the group also once again appeared as special guests in Game Caterers, in which they were divided into six teams: Hoshi and Seungkwan, Mingyu and Jeonghan, Vernon and The8, S.Coups and Woozi, Dino and Wonwoo, and Joshua, Jun and DK. After they finished the games, they were tasked to write a wish they wanted to be granted by Na PD.
Wonwoo and Dino’s wish to appear in Youth Over Flowers was picked among others, making the boys overjoyed.
Na Yeong-seok, more popularly known as Na PD, is the mastermind behind popular Korean variety shows like 2 Days & 1 Night, The Game Caterers, Three Meals a Day and more.
“With Na PD (producer) as the guide, this tour will be a chaotic adventure filled with travels and games surpassing everyone’s imagination,” tvN said.
Seventeen is set to return to the Philippines this January for a two-day concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium after the massive success of their Be The Sun tour in Manila and Bulacan in 2022. The two-day concert will be held on 13-14 January.
Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment, the label behind Seventeen, unveiled its first boy group, TWS, after nine years.
On 2 January, the group dropped its pre-release single titled “Oh Mymy: 7s” ahead of the debut mini-album “Sparkling Blue,” which will be released on 22 January.
TWS, which means “Twenty-Four Seven With Us,” has six members: Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyungmin.
