Maja Salvador to appear in K-drama ‘Gyeongseong Creature’

Maja Salvador, who had a recent fan-girl moment with hallyu heartthrob Park Seo Joon at the Gyeongseong Creature press conference in Bangkok, is about to surprise fans with a cameo appearance in the hit Netflix K-drama.

Netflix Philippines teased the surprise appearance by sharing a photo of Salvador seemingly behind bars with the playful caption, “Sandale, kalma lang kayo. Dumaan lang si Maja sa Onseong Hospital. Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee take a minor detour before Gyeongseong Creature Part 2 arrives on January 5.”

The now-viral snap depicts Salvador in prisoner’s uniform, hinting at a captivating plot twist within the series.

Fans and friends flooded the comments section with supportive messages upon the revelation. Salvador also shared the post on her Instagram.

Addressing inquiries about the project, the actress said in a comment, “[A]bangan mo kung ililigtas ako ng PSJ (Park Seo-joon) ko.”

Gyeongseong Creature, currently ranking second for Top TV Series in the Philippines on Netflix, unfolds in 1945 during Seoul’s years under colonial rule. The storyline follows an entrepreneur and a detective navigating survival while confronting a monstrous entity.

Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee lead the cast, joined by Claudia Kim, Wi Ha-Jun, Jo Han-chul and Kim Hae-sook, among others. The second part of Gyeongseong Creature is set to premiere on Friday, 5 January, promising viewers an exciting continuation of the riveting series.
