Made for ‘women we trust’

Nothing could depict the contemporary woman more than the blazer-and-jeans ensemble. There are, of course, various outfits to show one’s individuality and identity, but as a go-to? Well-fitting jeans and a sleek blazer should do the trick.

A brand that bears a woman’s name and has an appealing value proposition.

Marella is all about quality clothing at accessible prices. Collections are carefully crafted with a focus on the best materials and an eye for design in order to develop a creative and versatile selection that will allow women to express their personalities and feel like themselves in any situation.

The woman who would want to wear Marella are those who are “self-aware and determined, yet capable of light-heartedness and sensuality; women with eclectic personalities who are impossible to define.”

It promotes body positivity and produces pieces that embody accessible luxury with a glamorous feel. Instead of a codified style, Marella offers a feeling, the deep desire to express one’s femininity without making sacrifices, driven by instinct and intelligence. This is perfectly embodied in the women who have lent their faces to the brand from its origins to today, including Monica Bellucci, Amber Valletta, Milla Jovovich, Karlie Kloss and Miranda Kerr, among others.

A multifaceted and changing female identity lies at the heart of the brand’s philosophy, crystallised for the first time in a message launched as part of the spring-summer 2022 campaign starring internationally renowned Italian model Mariacarla Boscono.

“In Women We Trust” is the concept that inspired the text Lei (She), written by Giulia Caminito (Campiello Prize 2021) exclusively for Marella.

Read with the same rhythm as a ballad or a love poem, the text is a manifesto in the form of a dialogue and perfectly captures the Marella women at her most sincere: free, self-aware and ready to open up, as long as she can speak for herself.

This direction continued into autumn-winter 2022 with a second chapter by contemporary artist Anna Franceschini, one of the most exciting voices on the Italian art scene, performed once more by Mariacarla Boscono, simultaneously a special guest and an essential element within this space. A source of energy that powers the entire project, just as the energy of today’s women is an eternal yet contemporary source of inspiration for Marella.

Spring-summer 2023

A proposal that moves within and beyond trends, far from diktats and dress codes, close to women who know themselves and what represents them and makes them feel at ease: all this is the Marella collection for SS23.

Elegance is never forced but is a natural gesture, the approach to fashion is poetic and joyful. Every woman is unique but never the same, always different according to the occasion and the time of day.

Spring brings a dreamy mood that cohabits with an irreverent attitude. Daytime looks are comfortable but always stylish, while in the evening the Marella woman turns into a diva thanks to refined garments and sophisticated color combinations.

Star of the season’s wardrobe is the outerwear, the brand’s founding category, updated in a spring outerwear: from the fresh spring coat in double-layered wool and viscose designed for the start of the season to the iconic double-breasted trench coat in rainproof gabardine, from the real leather biker jacket to the ever-present blazer, the brand’s epitome and the new urban uniform of the Marella woman.

The blazer stands out as an identity element of the brand also within the iconic project Marella ART.365, epitome of a contemporary and eternal glamour, minimal but far from any understatement, designed for a woman who does not need excess to be noticed. Refined design silhouettes, seasonless fabrics, the absolute appeal of black and white combined with an optical print: simple effortlessly chic ingredients.

Denim confirms its timeless appeal. From bootcut trousers to the short trench coat, from the blazer to the shirtwaist dress, the timeless modernity of the proposal finds its ideal muse in the young French model Adèle Farine, immortalized by photographer Mariaclara Macrì in a campaign characterised by an intimate and personal flavor.

The accessories are designed as an exclusive and distinctive detail, a poetic touch that lends personality to each look.

Supermodel Irina Shayk, known icon of sensuality and star of the spring-summer advertising campaign, embodies a new female leadership, a woman of natural beauty and magnetic personality.

In the magic light of the Mediterranean Irina looks absolutely stunning in elegantly designed silhouettes of the spring-summer collection. This collection has a modern but sophisticated touch — sartorial blazers, ultra-white bootcut jeans, feminine dresses, vibrant colors and distinctive accessories that give personality to each look.
