Kathryn Bernardo’s family members and close friends in the entertainment industry came together for an elegant birthday celebration for the actress.

The A Very Good Girl star, who turned 28 last Tuesday, 26 March, hosted the birthday dinner and party at Isla Amara, a resort she co-owns with actor Piolo Pascual that’s located in El Nido, Palawan.

Guests included Bernardo’s co-stars in the 2019 blockbuster movie, Hello, Love, Goodbye, such as Alden Richards, Kakai Bautista and Lovely Abella.

In a photo shared by Abella on Instagram, the co-stars are joined by Bernardo’s fellow ABS-CBN talent, Maymay Entrata. She captioned her post using the shortened Hiligaynon term of endearment, palangga (beloved), in describing Bernardo: “My Ga namin!! Happy Birthday we love you so much!!”

Another friend of the birthday girl who turned up at the party was Joshua Garcia, as shown in a few snaps shared by his girlfriend Emilienne Viger on Instagram. Garcia posed for photos with fellow Kapamilya stars like Dominic Roque and Robi Domingo, who came with his wife Maiqui Pineda.

Jericho Rosales was also present at the celebration, as seen in other pictures. Last month, a photo of the actor with Bernardo taken during a late-night workout session made its way online and caused a frenzy among netizens.

Meanwhile, Bernardo’s ex-boyfriend and love team partner Daniel Padilla greeted the birthday girl with an Instagram story.

Padilla’s past-midnight post showed a photo collage featuring the birthday girl with a message written in the Japanese language that translates to “Happy birthday to you.” The ex-couple announced the end of their 11-year relationship in November 2023.
