After 10 years, Karylle and her husband Yael Yuzon renewed their marriage vows.

The ceremony was held recently at the Church of Gesu of Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, based on the photos and video clips posted by Karylle’s mother, Zsa Zsa Padilla, on Instagram.

“Congratulations, K and Yael! It was a beautiful ceremony for your renewal of vows!,” Padilla captioned, using the nickname of her first-born child who followed in her footsteps as a singer, actress and TV host.

In one of the uploaded clips, the couple soulfully sang “Anima Christi.”

Yael’s brother and fellow musician, Yan Yuzon, was also present at the renewal of the vows and later shared about it in his own Instagram post.

“Glad to have been in town for the renewal of your vows on the tenth year of your marriage,” Yan wrote in his post. “As a witness to your journey together, I wish you more of what has been so central to your lasting union: deep faith, mutual support, and most importantly, true friendship.”

Yael’s Sponge Cola band mates, along with some close friends and family members of the couple attended the ceremony.

Last 26 February, Yael surprised the “Madlang People” in an episode of It’s Showtime, where Karylle is a co-host, when he asked his wife to marry him again.

Karylle happily replied, “Yes!”

The couple first tied the knot in a private ceremony held in March 2014 in Silang, Cavite.
