After over a decade of waiting, Filipino fans are set to reunite with international pop sensation Janet Jackson in March 2024.
Live Nation Philippines announced across all their social media platforms on 15 November that Jackson is bringing her Together Again concert tour to the SMART Araneta Coliseum on 13 March next year.
“Get ready for an unforgettable night of timeless hits, as one of the bestselling artists in music history takes center stage in Manila,” Live Nation Philippines declared.
The 57-year-old pop star also expressed her excitement on Instagram as she announced adding more stops to her Together Again tour.
“And even more exciting news…I’m so happy to announce that in addition to Hawaii, we’ve added TOGETHER AGAIN dates in Manila and Japan. Can’t wait to see you,” Jackson wrote.
Her March 2024 concert would mark Jackson’s return to the country after over 13 years. Her last concert in the Philippines was in February 2011 at the PICC Plenary Hall for her Number Ones: Up Close and Personal tour.
Jackson, the younger sister of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, jumpstarted her career when she released her self-titled debut album at the age of 15.
Regarded as one of the world’s biggest-selling female artists, the Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter is best known for classic hits such as “All For You,” “Any Time, Any Place,” “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Together Again” and more.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale on 24 November, while general on-sale will start on 25 November at 12 noon.
