It was an epic weekend to remember.

Now on its ninth year, Wanderland Festival 2024 ticked off a lot of firsts this year as it took off on 9 and 10 March at the Filinvest City Events Ground Alabang in Muntinlupa.

American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, who is known for hit songs “Better Together,” “Upside Down” and “Banana Pancakes,” headlined the music and arts festival’s first day.

Meanwhile, Grammy-award-winning musician and record producer Thundercat headlined the second day. This is the first time for both artists to headline a festival show in the country.

Apart from Jack Johnson and Thundercat, more international artists made their much-awaited debut on the Philippine stage. This includes impressive performances from American indie-pop group The Walters, Electronic Duo Cosmo’s Midnight, Welsh multi-instrumentalist Novo Amor, and Maroon 5’s keyboardist and singer-songwriter PJ Morton, among others.

South Korean star Hwasa, who is known for being a member of the four-piece girl group Mamamoo, was another standout performer for this year’s Wanderland Festival.

Known for her catchy and upbeat songs, the K-pop star blazed on the stage with the hit songs “TWIT,” “I Love My Body,” “Chili, and “Maria.”

Local artists also dominated the Wanderland stage! Filipino-American singer Jeff Bernat serenaded the crowd with “Call You Mine” and short renditions of songs “Sana Maulit Muli” and “When I Met You.”

Lola Amour, Paulo Sandejas and more local stars also graced the two-day festival.

Wanderland Music and Arts Festival is a two-day music festival that showcases performances from both local and international artists.

Over the years, the music and arts festival featured award-winning international stars, including Carly Rae Jepsen, Lauv, Daniel Caesar, Two Door Cinema Club, Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie and more.
