Insightful talks and celeb secrets at Watsons Health Expo

The recent Watsons Health Expo at SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 1-3 offered an array of engaging activities and enticing prizes. The third day of the expo was particularly captivating, featuring enlightening talks from health experts and celebrity endorsers. The day began with a segment by WeKenRun led by coach Ken Mendola, followed by TV host Kim Atienza discussing “Be your best with Vitamin B!” for Watsons Generics.

Next on the agenda was a discussion on the “Efficacy of Glutathione in Lozenge Form” presented by Thiocell Glutathione Lozenges, featuring insights from Dr. Catherine Porciuncula and facilitated by Ariel Aganon. The event continued to attract notable personalities, including actress Jessy Mendiola. In her segment with Health Fusion, hosted by Monster DJ Gayle, Jessy shared her secrets to maintaining timeless beauty.

Following Jessy was another celebrity, Kristine Hermosa, who shared her journey with Japanese Collagen Experience, courtesy of SKJN Collagen, in a talk facilitated by Miss Universe Philippines 2020 fourth runner-up, Billie Hakenson.

Embarking on a journey toward healthier skin begins with understanding the skin’s needs, while acne often poses a common challenge. To shed light on this issue, a “skin talk” on acne, covering its causes and dispelling myths, was led by celebrity dermatologist and skin expert Dr. Jarische Lao-Ang. The event concluded on a high note with a discussion on Family Made Easy with Non-Acidic Vitamin C, Fern-C, followed by another lively Zumba session.

And since the day focused on skincare, the event also featured a talk by managing director Cristalle Belo-Pitt of the renowned Belo Medical Group on “Beauty From Within: Glutathione & Collagen 101.” Cassandra Chan from Watsons then presented another talk on collagen.
