Seemingly exasperated over rumors that she is now pregnant, Herlene Budol took to Twitter to vehemently deny that she is on the family way.
“Showbiz nga talaga! Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho. gagawan ka ng issue!“ Dati asa #wowowin gumawa ng issue na buntis daw ako.
“Ngayon naman sa #MagandangDilag may issue uli na buntis ako uli?
“Ano susunod? Sa #BlackRider mabubuntis ako uli?,” she ranted.
(Before in Wowowin they made an issue that I was pregnant. Now, in Magandang Dilag, it’s the same issue. What’s next? In Black Rider I will get pregnant again?)
Budol’s tweet was meant to douse explosive rumors linking her to her Magandang Dilag leading man Rob Gomez.
Budol and Gomez figured in a recent controversy after a private chat, supposedly between them, surfaced on social media.
It was allegedly Gomez’s off-and-on again partner Shaila Rebortera who posted the screenshots out of spite. The screenshots have since been deleted but enterprising netizens were able to capture the exchange of messages allegedly between Budol and Gomez, which bordered on salacious and has sparked cheating allegations.

The banter had netizens swooning over Jennings and Racal, who are showing great chemistry in the series.
“Their characters are a perfect match,” raved one fan.
Why Nadia Montenegro is looking for Cita Astals
On her way to the office of Senator Robin Padilla, Nadia Montenegro accidentally saw former Manila councilor Cita Astals walking aimlessly in one of the streets in Manila.
Sadly, Montenegro said the former comedian seemingly looked like she needed help.
Now, Montenegro is reaching out to friends to locate Astals, as she wants to help her through Padilla.
The senator is passionate about helping people in showbiz who needs assistance. A few years ago, he gathered some veteran showbiz writers for a Christmas get-together and gave them financial help.
In the past, Montenegro also extended help to former actor John Regala, who has since passed away.
Christmas ‘handog’ to 500 children
True to her word, former actress Princess Revilla spearheaded a Pamaskong Handog by the Princess Revilla Foundation, Inc., held in Barangay Bayan Luma, Bacoor, Cavite last 17 December.
The Christmas gift-giving extravaganza brought joy to 500 children.
“It was our first Christmas gift-giving. The foundation initially planned to conduct activities in various areas nationwide, but we later decided to focus on different areas of Cavite to pay tribute to the home of our lineage. It is public knowledge that Cavite is where the Revilla/Bautista roots came from. As the saying goes; ‘Charity starts from home.’ Cavite is our home and we will share the blessings with people from our home,” Revilla said.
The “foundation aims to provide assistance to our kababayan in need, regardless of the gender and sector they belong to,” she added.
Revilla said she gets fulfillment “everytime I am able to extend a helping hand not only to indigent people, but to anyone.”
