GMA’s grand offerings for 2024

Leading broadcast company GMA Network has unveiled its 2024 roster of television shows and films showcasing world-class Filipino entertainment and bannered by the country’s biggest and brightest stars.

Marian Rivera makes her much-awaited comeback in a series with Gabby Concepcion. Together, they headline “My Guardian Alien,” a story of an alien who lands on Earth and becomes part of a loving family.

Jennylyn Mercado also returns to primetime with Xian Lim in “Love. Die. Repeat.” Jennylyn portrays Angela, who loses her husband in a car accident and finds herself stuck in a time loop, forced to live the worst day of her life over and over again.

 Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rayver Cruz team up for the first time in “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.” Everyone thought Cristy had died during a rebel attack. Until one day, she returns to the lives of her family. But to her surprise, her husband has already married someone else.

 Four of the biggest Kapuso stars come together in “Pulang Araw.” Starring Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco and Barbie Forteza, the series is set in World War II.

 Bea Alonzo, Gabbi Garcia Carla Abellana star in their first project together, “Widows’ War,” about the struggles of a widow who mourns for her husband while facing allegations of murder.

 Completing the exciting lineup is “A Lifetime With You,” which centers on love found in a penal farm.

 For GMA Afternoon Prime, set to premiere is the first-ever adaptation of a K-Drama in the afternoon slot titled “Shining Inheritance.” Leading the powerhouse cast are Kate Valdez, Kyline Alcantara, Michael Sager and Ms. Coney Reyes.

 Jo Berry is a feisty rookie lawyer in “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law,” while highlighting family values and the unconditional love of a mother is “Mommy Dearest.” 

 All set to touch the hearts of many is “A Mother’s Tale,” which focuses on an exemplary mother forced to work as a full-time nanny to provide for the needs of her family.

 In “A Family Like Us,” a matriarch develops dementia and threatens to reveal things that may destroy her family.

 Get to know the female public servant diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency syndrome in “Forever Young,” and meet the CEO on the brink of losing her most beloved grandson in “For the Love of Kobe.”

 Meanwhile, GMA Integrated News guarantees to deliver more special reporting that provides in-depth analyses of the issues of the day. Expect timely news documentaries that go behind the headlines and features that shine a light on thought-provoking topics to educate, inspire and empower Filipino audiences across the Philippines and overseas.

 Not to be missed is GMA Synergy’s continuing coverage of the country›s first athletic collegiate league — the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Celebrating a milestone year, NCAA Season 100 is bound to bring viewers more legendary and history-making moments in sports with the live broadcast of Season 99 of Women’s Volleyball and other sports competitions such as Men’s Junior Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Taekwondo, Track and Field, All-Star Volleyball and the much-awaited Cheerleading Competition.

 The biggest reality game show of 2024, “Running Man Philippines”, returns for season 2, along with GMA’s original singing competition, “The Clash.” After the success of The Voice Generations on GMA, a new series from “The Voice” franchise will launch in 2024.
