Gerald Anderson is more motivated than ever to do more projects with ABS-CBN as he reaffirmed his commitment as a Kapamilya during the recent contract-renewal event event at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater.
“Kahit 17 years na akong nagtra-trabaho sa ABS-CBN, I think these next few years mas motivated ako. Mas excited and mas passionate to do more projects na makaka-inspire sa mga Pilipino. Alam ko kasi na kapag binigay mo lahat at maganda ang proyekto (I know that if I give my all and the project is good), I have seen the impact sa mga kapwa Pilipino natin,” said the Kapamilya leading man.
Anderson said he wants to do TV series like his past projects A Soldier’s Heart and A Family Affair. He also shared that he wants to work with Richard Gutierrez.
“Sabi ko sa kanya, I think dapat na tayo gumawa. Kakatapos lang ng ‘The Iron Heart,’ gawa tayo ng action-drama,” he said.
Joining him at the contract signing were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, president and chief executive officer Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes, group chief financial officer Rick Tan, TV production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi and handler Portia Dimla.
Aside from the projects the network has given him throughout his career, Anderson is also grateful at how the company has inspired him to share his blessings and inspire other people.
“One of the things that inspire me before was ‘yung mga outreach namin sa ABS-CBN. To be part of that, ipinagpatuloy ko ‘yan because of what I have seen sa mga outreach ko with ABS-CBN. I was inspired and I want to inspire others,” he said.
