Businessman Sonny Tanchanco and long-time partner John Gaddi welcomed their close friends to their posh Magallanes Village home to welcome 2024 with a bang!

Together with their sons JP and Brian with wife Jade and only daughter Jonina, Sonny and John treated their friends to a delicious New Year’s Eve buffet of pumpkin soup, lengua, laing, chicken satay, mixed vegetables and Emmy Gonzalez’s famed chicken relleno. The delectable meal was capped by an array of desserts, such as mango crepe, buko pandan salad, Fortune Ledesma’s bread pudding and Lilibeth Campos’ frozen fruit salad.

Friends who enjoyed the evening’s festivities included Ian and Marissa Fenton with daughter Angel, Paqui and Lilibeth Campos, actress Jean Saburit and Geena Zablan with her entire brood. A high-end “Bring Me” was led by Gerard Ramirez and someone beautiful and glamorous ended up presenting the biggest glittering rock of the night. 

Merrymaking lasted the whole evening with everyone wearing their New Year’s masks while blowing their horns and shaking their rattles and other noise-making toys. Immediately after the countdown, which was accompanied by a majestic rendition of “Auld Lang Syne,” goblets of champagne with 12 grapes were passed around for everyone to savor for good luck throughout all the 12 months of 2024.
