The Peninsula Manila presents its Easter Afternoon Tea, featuring Easter bunny-inspired desserts and scones slathered with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd, and served with a pot of hot tea or a flute or two of champagne.
Ongoing until 31 March, 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Afternoon Tea at The Lobby’s sweet items are created by head pastry chef Annalyn Solano. Delight in an array of delectable treats, including a White Chocolate Mousse with Strawberry Confit, which has been made to look like adorable bunny ears; and a lovely Mango and Coconut Opera.
Equally enticing is the selection of savory items: Chorizon in a Piquillo Pesto Cream Ciabatta, Egg Salad and Cucumber Tartlet and Roast Beef Salad and Fig Jam in a Crispy Onion-Mustard Baguette.
