SM Store and its retail affiliates have been at the forefront of advancing green retail initiatives such as the Green Finds Program, which aims to make available to consumers, products that are eco-friendly, made from natural and local ingredients, and support local communities.
On Earth Day 2024, which falls on 22 April, SM Store will once again roll out its Green Finds pop-ups in all of its premiere stores like Aura, Megamall, Mall of Asia, North Edsa and Makati, as well as in select branches across the country. Alongside these pop-ups, one can also find the Green Finds badge in the respective selling pads of the different sections and departments within the store.
Retailers play a pivotal role in influencing consumer behavior. The leading marketplace aims to positively impact consumer behavior and help fuel a sustainable ecosystem together with its supplier partners, which include social enterprises and MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) that support this advocacy to bring Filipino consumers closer to a greener lifestyle.
Part of the Green Finds collection includes sustainably sourced clothing under SM Fashion, clean beauty products under SM Beauty and eco-friendly home essentials for a greener household, also under SM Home. And along with the many brands under SM Retail, the Filipino consumer can expect a greener shopping experience.
SM Green Finds is one of the key programs under the SM Green Movement, a group-wide sustainability initiative aimed to encourage multi-stakeholder collaboration to create a shift in mindset and behavior toward a better and improved quality of life for every Filipino, anchored on three pillars: Green Planet, Green Culture and Green Living.
