Long-term couple Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero will renew their vows in February. This was mentioned in a televised interview of Escudero by Karen Davila on ANC’s Headstart on 29 January.
“We have a lot of things to celebrate, which I guess we would be able to say or announce in the next couple of months to our friends,” Escudero said.
“It’s not really something that the public needs to know coming from us, but there’s a lot to celebrate in life right now — in our family, in our marriage, between us, with her. Not so much with me, but that’s good enough for me as well: my marriage, my family and my home,” Escudero added.
Asked why they were renewing their vows on the 10th year of their marriage, Escudero replied: “Well, I have friends who do it on the fifth year, I have friends who do it on the seventh year, especially given the seven-year itch… It really depends because if you are truly in love with each other, you can actually do it every year if you want. Ten is a good number.”
Meanwhile, Evangelista, who is currently in Paris, shared an Instagram post and Instagram story showing her with her husband.
Escudero and Evangelista tied the knot on 15 February 2015, and in 2022 survived extensive breakup rumors and Evangelista’s admission that their relationship had gone through a “rough patch.”
