The family of Dr. Vivina Chiu celebrated a milestone that was doubly special — the matriarch’s birthday and the baptism of her second grandchild Aurelia Vida Yrastorza, supported by proud parents, both dentists Pocholo and Pamela Yrastorza, with beaming smiles of happiness.

The Casino Español de Cebu had more laughter and much love, along with nothing-but-the-best of heartfelt wishes during the intimate dinner, with family, friends and colleagues in attendance.

A well-respected and much-loved pediatrician and an active member of the medical community, she is known for her compassionate care and unwavering commitment to her patients.

As Dr. Chiu has touched the lives of many through her untiring dedication, she reflected on another year of service and genuine gratitude. She expressed sincere thanks for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many through her personalized approach to healthcare.

Singing and dancing for Boboy

Florentino Atillo III, fondly called Boboy, recently celebrated his 74th birthday amidst his dedicated wife Irma, children Nico and Liza, grandsons Fernando and Noah Florentino, dear relatives and close friends.

The occasion was made even more evocative with the presence of close friends from America who flew in just for the celebrator’s special day. We must recall the couple continues to spend equal time in both their homes in Cebu and in Bear Creek, Murrieta, California, on either side of the Pacific.

No Atillo party goes without singing! Along with endless laughter, guests shared memorable stories which highlighted Boboy’s wisdom and kindness.

A cake topped with several candles, gifted by dear friends Marissa Fernan, Elvira Luym, Teresin Mendezona, Nonie Uy and Margert Villarica, soon made its way to the stage.

Throughout the evening, it was clear that Boboy’s eyes, filled with emotion, sparkled with gratitude and joy.
