Lunar New Year or Spring Festival celebrations are incomplete without the Yee Sang Prosperity Toss shared between family and friends. This year, NWR’s restaurants have prepared traditional spreads for a Lo Hei toss for diners — from the Newport Garden Wing’s Happy 8 and Marriott Manila’s Man Ho to the Newport Grand Wing’s Hua Yuan Brasserie Chinoise at Hilton Manila.
For a different flavor for the festivities, try the Tteok Mandu Guk from Sheraton Manila’s Oori Korean Restaurant for Seollal or Korean New Year celebrations. Okura Manila celebrates the Year of the Dragon with Tatsudoshi 2024: Lunar New Year Buffet from 9 to 10 February at Yawaragi and seasonal Lunar Bento Kaiseki at Yamazato.
Finally, Asia’s Prince of Ballads Eric Moo returns to Manila for a soulful show at Newport Performing Arts Theater on 1 March.

Grand Hyatt Manila celebrates the Lunar New Year with a feast curated by the hotel’s Chinese master chefs. The celebration will feature a live cooking show, a prosperity toss and a lion dance performance. A Chinese New Year set menu is designed to delight six persons.
