Chris Evans, renowned for his portrayal of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has apparently taken the plunge with Portuguese actress Alba Baptista in a private wedding ceremony in Cape Cod, Massachusetts on Saturday, according to People magazine.

Guests included the bride and groom’s family, as well as Chris’s “The Avengers” co-stars like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, among others.

Speculation about their romance began when they were seen holding hands in public in November last year. Subsequent reports revealed that Chris and Alba had been in a secret relationship for over a year.
