Coco Martin will team up with actors-turned-senators Lito Lapid, Robin Padilla and Bong Revilla in a film to be produced by Imus Productions and directed by award-winning filmmaker Brillante Mendoza.
On Instagram, Revilla posted a photo of the four stars along with co-stars Val Iglesias and Rez Cortez; Lapid’s son Mark Lapid, head of the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority; and Mendoza.
“Ayos na (It’s all good),” the senator captioned his post.
Revilla said the film might become an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival in December 2024, when the festival celebrates its 50th anniversary.
The MMFF will have its 50th anniversary this December 2024.
The upcoming film will be Padilla’s comeback to the big screen after Maid in Malacañang in 2022.
Mark Lapid and his father Lito are part of the ongoing TV series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, where Coco Martin plays the lead role.
On the other hand, Revilla’s TV series Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis will premiere its second season on Sunday, 4 February.
