The long wait is finally over! BINI, hailed as the “Nation’s girl group,” will mark another career milestone with its first-ever solo concert.
BINI’s concert is going to take place on 28 June at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Full details are yet to be announced.
Meantime, the popular P-pop group just released an extended play, titled Taalarawan, in celebration of International Women’s Day on 8 March.
They also released the official music video for one of the tracks in the EP, “Salamin, Salamin,” which showcases the group’s dream-like visuals, captivating vocals and quirky dance performance.
The EP also contains their previous hit songs including “Karera,” which garnered almost two million streams on Spotify, and the viral song “Pantropiko,” with over 6.7 million streams.
“Pantropiko” has been covered by several K-pop stars, including Red Velvet’s Irene and ITZY’s Ryujin, through a fan’s request in fan call events.
BINI — composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena — debuted in June 2021 following their stint in ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy. They soon released the single “Born to Win.”
The Filipino girl group then became known for their other songs “Na Na Na,” “Lagi,” “Golden Arrow” and “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,” among others.
