Barbie-David remake of ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’ heads to Netflix

Originally a 1991 romantic movie, Maging Sino Ka Man got a fresh update from GMA Network as a binge-worthy series starring Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza and Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco.

Now, beginning 10 December, Maging Sino Ka Man will give Netflix viewers a front-row seat to the blockbuster TV adaptation of the box-office hit that originally starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

The series serves up romance, high-stakes action and comedy for a new generation of fans, while sticking to the tenets of a timeless love story: two people unlikely to ever meet until fate intervenes and they gradually fall in love against all odds.

Barbie plays the role of Monique, an heiress of a business empire whose life is in danger, forcing her to disguise herself as the boyish Dino. David is Carding, a petty thief who looks after orphans. Sparks fly, of course, when they meet.

The special limited series also features up-and-coming stars such as Juancho Triviño as Gilbert Arnaiz, Faith Da Silva as Cleo Ramirez, Mikoy Morales as Gordon a.k.a Libag and Rain Matienzo as Tetay.

Watch the phenomenal love team of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco in Maging Sino Ka Man on Netflix starting 10 December, and available in Asia Pacific and Middle East territories.
