ABS-CBN Entertainment is reintroducing itself as ABS-CBN Studios in 2024.
On 13 December, the network unveiled its upcoming slate of TV series and variety programs for next year at the “Forever Grateful: 2023 ABS-CBN Christmas Special” shoot at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The recently concluded acclaimed drama-thriller series Linlang, featuring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, will become available on free TV. The 14-episode drama debuted at No. 1 on Amazon Prime Video Philippines.
With the success of the Philippine adaptation of The Broken Marriage Vow and Flower of Evil, the network will once again serve Philippine adaptations of two popular Korean dramas next year.
Chiu and Avelino, building on their electric chemistry in Linlang, will team up anew for the upcoming local adaptation of the 2018 K-drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?
The series features a stellar lineup, including Jake Cuenca, Janice de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta and more.
Anne Curtis, meanwhile, will star in her first teleserye in nine years, in the Philippine remake of the hit Korean series It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.
Joining the host-actress’ much-awaited return to the small screen are Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino, both ace actors in the romantic-drama genre.
After the success of Replacing Chef Chico, the first Filipino-produced Netflix Original series, Piolo Pascual is also set to return to the small screen next year in Pamilya Sagrado.
The ageless heartthrob will be joined by young stars Kyle Echarri and Grae Fernandez, both currently starring in the popular teen series Senior High.
Another A-list actor, Asian Academy Creative Awards 2020 Best Actor Arjo Atayde, will headline the web series Bag Man together with stalwarts Judy Ann Santos and John Arcilla.
Finally, the network is also bringing back its beloved reality television shows, Pinoy Big Brother and The Voice Teens, to complete a truly busy and exciting Kapamilya TV for 2024.
